I guess that is the ultimate. Control over what you believe. So, you have, in fact answered my question.
I suppose there are some beliefs I have that I am truely battling with changing, so the only option, at the moment, seems to be to ignore them. For that, I think, I almost need some autonomy.

I am mad about autonomy. I battle to live without it.

Tell me though, do you think that autonomy can also have an internal aspect? Say autonomy from one’s beliefs.
Or would one then just use a different word…
