A friend sent me an interesting text message the other day. He asked: “What’s your biggest time-waster?” I replied with only three mysterious words: “The Grey Zone”. I forgot to mention this. There’s a small chance you noticed there wasn’t a ZTD post this month. I didn’t do month 4’s requirement for the whole month in August, as I didn’t have as many tasks to juggle as I normally do. So I’m repeating it rather than moving straight on to month 5.

Zen to Done (ZTD) is an ebook by Leo Babuata of Zen Habits. It’s a step-by-step, month-by-month guide to learning a productivity system based on David Allen’s classic book, Getting Things Done (GTD). GTD is a popular and effective system, but for many people there’s just too much to do at once. [...]

Zen to Done (ZTD) is an ebook by Leo Babuata of Zen Habits. It’s a step-by-step guide to internalising a productivity system based on David Allen’s classic book, Getting Things Done (GTD). The idea is that although GTD is a good system, for many people it’s just too much, and people often burn [...]

I was knee deep in To Do lists and other paperwork when I decided to follow the Zen To Done (ZTD) course last month. As I mentioned earlier, I’m not making as good use of my time as I could be, so it’s time to get organised and start getting more things done. I have decided to take the slow way of doing this, and get into more productive habits over the course of the next ten months. [...]
