What is the Psychology Articles Carnival?
A blog carnival is a regular round up of the quality blog posts in a particular field. The Psychology Articles Carnival exhibits the best psychology posts the blogosphere had to offer in the previous month. Three areas are covered:
- Practical - Articles which have some practical use, application, or recommended action
- Academic - Psychology articles that are more technical, perhaps of more interest to students and researchers of psychology
- Informative - Any psychology article that does not fit into the above categories
The Psychology Articles Carnival is released on the 15th of every month (subject to change; we’ll see what volume of submissions are received), and is hosted here on the Generally Thinking blog. It features posts that bloggers have submitted themselves, as well as my favourite picks from the blogosphere.
If you’re looking for psychology articles, make sure you bookmark this page, and check back for the new issue on the 15th of every month!
How to Submit an Article
Do you write articles on psychology on your blog? Want to get these out to a wider audience?
Then submit your best post of the month to the carnival, and provided it meets the submission guidelines, it’ll be featured in the carnival! Your website will receive link-love from a contextually relevant site, and your article will be exposed to Psychology Articles Carnival readers as well as Generally Thinking readers.
Submission Guidelines
- Scientific psychology ONLY: This is a carnival to showcase articles based on the field of academic psychology. Your article must be supported by at least one peer-reviewed reference from a relevant journal (unless this is not relevant, eg., your experiences with a disorder, something like that).
- One submission per website: You may only submit ONE article from your blog. If you submit more than one article, I will choose which one to include.
- Link back policy: If your article is featured on the carnival, please link back; the greater readership this carnival gets, the more people will read your articles and visit your site. Also, if your readers like your posts they will probably enjoy the other posts on the carnival; you’ll be providing value to them by giving them access to it. Link-love is good for everyone!
