In addition to the chemical improvements in the brain that your article points out I also find basic neccessities like &quot;turning off&quot; the negative noise and persevering through the last set of lifting weights, or focusing through the tedium of a long run have huge benefits in everyday life.

For me exercise has always been a sort of moving meditation, and it definitely sharpens my brain.</description>
